I'm intending to use a Viton 0 ring as a piston ring on a small engine I'm building. The bore is 20mm and the 0 ring size is 20mm OD 18mm ID 1mm cross section. Would anyone know the correct depth and width the ring groove should be? Any assistance would be very helpful. Max

Thank you for your comments. I don't have any plans, I started with an idea and just built it up as I went along making whatever material I had fit. Not very sophisticated I know.
