    Rescuing a Stuart Triple Expansion engine

    I have obtained a Stuart Triple Expansion engine by an unknown builder. The problem I am having is locating replacement hardware The engine was built with 4-36 hex head machine screws. Does anyone know of a source for these. Thanks Bill

    Stuart BB Mystery Hardware

    I recently acquired a Stuart BB apparently assembled by the first owner. The hardware is not standard Stuart. It is in between 8BA (bottom) and 7BA (top). The diameter of the stud is 0.084" and has approximately 48 threads per inch. Does anyone have an idea what this thread might be?
