    Through my work I am now working with Inventor , but in the early days I used graphic works 3.0 , a very easy to understand program , this was still in the time of windows 3.11 and 95, but I don't know if this is still available Regards Jef

    Nice work Gerard :thumbup: I use always 42CrMo4 steel for my crankshafts Why do you take the crankshaft out of the chuck and put it back in again ? Here's some pictures of the crankshaft for mine Nova 1 ( a Dutch desing from I.J.v.Leeuwen during WW2 in 1943)

    Nicely built, I'm also making a few Mills ( among other things ) of my own castings , if any one is interested I can deliver castings for the Mills mk1 and Nova 1 The finished engine's are built by a friend of me , he has got more time than me , he is retired :D Regards Jef

    This will work better, but the booster port opens at most engines at the same time with the side ports or something later, not earlier . Regards Jef

    I don't think it will work well with the transfer ports and exhaust ports on the same side , the flow will be disturbed I think :confused: Regards Jef

    This is the timing that I use on my motor, you can make the exhaust port with a bar in the middle if your worried about the width . Regards Jef
