ER 25 collet 1/4" wanted. UK

I'm in Uk and need an 1/4" ER25 collet. Do you have one spare or know where I may get one or would be happy to send me one from America. I know that a 6-7mm does, that is what I'm using but it is a pain on 1/4" shank tooling which I use a lot. Thanks David

    Tap Tool

That is nice and a suggestion. Instead of different bushings you could make a larger end with all the sizes drilled in a line or circular pattern.

My New Shop Made Boring Tool Holder

Well done. And if you, and I'm sure you have done, drill them in your lathe then they wre always on centre....no shims ever required. Here is mine. When I am feeling lazy the centre cutting end mill will go in without a drill.

X2 powerfeed from a cordless drill

I'll add a pic of my lathe power feed. There was a bit of trouble wit the geartrain so this was a quick fix to get me going, wiper motor powered off a 12v psu via a simple Pulse width modulator speed control. Purists look away ;D

    Wabeco F1200E Milling Machine

Lovely machine. I wouldn't call it a hobby machine but a small 'real' mill. Re dust. There is no fan or forced vent so dust is not circulated through the pcb& switch. The switch is a generic NVR start stop. If it gets smoked you change it. Yes, the spindle speed is not feed back governed...

    MD65 head bearings

Hello Peter I have the same lathe and 50 page parts/operating book. Taper roller bearings are fitted and may be adjusted by the lock nuts/rings at the belt end. If it was me I would knock out the spindle , apply a little of my favourite grease to the existing bearings and re assemble. If you...
