    Autodesk Inventor

For file translation have you tried step (stp) files or stl files. These two types of files are frequently used between different cad and or cad-cam programs. I use Inventor and have brought files over from Solid Works many times in these two formats.

    Small V8

Steve, Maybe you might consider another package (with an extra charge of course) that would include G-codes for the parts you used CNC on. I know everyone doesn't use the same post, but I'm sure it could be tweekable. Something to consider. Thanks for the awesome coverage of your build. Jim E

Left a spacer block in the 3-jaw

In the past I have made a spring that fits tight on the chuck key and sticks out past the square about a quarter inch. You have to give a little push to get the square into the chuck, but it is pretty much impossible to leave it in the chuck. Just adding my 2 cents. Jim

Ought to be fun at the range at 600 RNDS per minute. Have you thought about making the broadwell feed...

My wife's coffee maker (BUNN Brand) died the other day, so I thought I'd tear into it to see what I could salvage. Two switches, a thermocouple, a real nice stainless tank (part for a small foundry?), and a hot plate (possibly a heat source mounted in a wooden base for displaying a sterling...

    Round insert profile tool

I believe those inserts were originally used as milling inserts. You can find the inserts at MSC under round milling inserts. You may have to make a holder for them. Jim

any plans for home made dro extension readouts

Try Discount Machine. That's where I got mine. They plug into the digital scales on the x and y axis. They work very well and have a magnet in them so you can mount them anywhere.

    Cam grinder fixture plans?

Hello all. Newly registered but have been a guest for a while now. This site is awesome and loaded with so much information. Being fairly new to the site, I was wondering if it is possible to get a set of the cam grinder drawings? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim E
