    Need help recreating finish

I make pieces like that with a thread repair file. Nice thing you have a choice of threads per inch. Just mount it in a block and cut a 90degree slot the width of the file. This is a fast way and can cut any thing not file hard.

    Black oxide

I have good luck with Brownell's OXPHO-BLUE. You have too make very sure to clean all oil off parts. I'll put parts in small oven a preheat to get oils out of metal sometimes this takes 2or3 times. This is a long lasting finish if you do it right. Almost as good as hot salt bluing. It helps if...

Exhust port timing will start at the highest point of the oval. Because of the loss of compression down the port. I don't know what your working on but have you thought about what are called boost ports. Thease are placed higher than the larger port but are there to aid in getting exhust...

2 stroke exhaust port with before needing a bridge

I hope you wouldn't mind my two cents. Bridges do sieze I have seen hundreds. I have built many high horsepower motorcycle engines. The best don't have bridges. If the port is designed with a good expansion chamber the pipe size will be alittle smaller than the port. It is important to keep the...
