Hi Ive been given a French gearbox, with the intention of recovering the aly from the casing for recasting. I thought that removing the gears with my bearing pullers would be quite simple, but I cannot get them to move at all. Has anyone else done this who could advise on dismantling ?

I was intrigued to discover the KnKut Step Point drills, which combine a drill with a starter. Do these work well ? My first thought was #great#, but then I wondered about chip clearance once the full drill was cutting. It made me wonder why I hadn't seen them before. Cheers Peter
