    Unwanted Taper ?

The raised part of the bed that locates everything. On the far left side on the front of the raised part I had to put a .003 shim about 1/2 long to shift the head CCW when your looking at the top. Mine had three bolts holding the head on. Two in the front and one in the back. I hope this is...

    Chinese Hit and miss engine

The rod should be .114 or 2.9mm diameter and 2.165 or 55mm long. you should have .003 to .006 play between the rod and the rocker arm. Also ground the engine to the black wire of the battery input. And the electronic ignition is made to run on 3.7 volts. if you go much higher than that you will...

    Kerzel engine

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I have several projects. A Baker ball hopper 2hp castings from lone star, 2 cylinder silver bullet, open frame 6 cylinder, Bruce Macbeth 4 cylinder, and a little brother hit & miss. I have started to make parts for all of them. The ball hopper is the most...

    Kerzel engine

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. There are a few things that I changed from the original plans. The first thing I did was made the base taller so the flywheels wouldn't touch when set down on something. I changed it to electronic ignition, I used needle bearings on the rod and crank. I...
