    Check out the practical machinist website regarding your lathe. Get it out of the rain and get it home. I’ve got five lathes the oldest is 1896 the newest is 1955, none of which you would use to make a living but are great farm hobby shop tools. Kelly

    Milling a circle

    My Bridgeport came with a radius cutter. Mounts to the spindle and offsets the cutter. Uses collets. I just checked eBay and there was one for sale. Works good.

    $40 digital readout

    i see there are$40 digital readouts advertised with scales. Is this for real? Anybody tried this yet? I’d put it on my mill.
