    4 Cylinder Inline Engine

How else would you measure your wood pieces…hopefully not with a tape measure.

    British Seagull 40 plus

Cool project, I have the same idea for a Johnson A-25 or similar outboard someday.

    Upshur's opposed twin engine

I'll be watching...I have a start on this engine also, basically the crankcase is done. But I have some others to finish up before I get back to this. I have an Upshur Vertical Single that is almost complete.

Building a twin cylinder inline i.c. engine.

Turn it to TDC on one cylinder then manually press one of the valves momentarily on that cylinder to release any pressure. If you lightly put your finger over that carb, do you feel suction as the piston is on the intake stroke? You should also notice fuel being drawn in at the same time...

    Webster Engine Success

It almost looks like the paper is getting sucked up towards the exhaust. Maybe your exhaust valve is staying open a little bit too long? The paper may be acting like a valve and closing off the exhaust as the piston is starting the intake stroke. I don’t know if I would let it bother me too...

    Printer problem

I am thinking slowing down the Y acceleration also. I have an A8, and when I put the new Cura on my linux machine, I noticed that the printer had a different personality, a lot quicker and jerkier feeling than when I use the version of Cura that came with the machine. I have not had shifting...

    Scotty's Boll Aero Glow

Thanks guys! I dropped the prop to a 9x6 and it is a lot angrier now. Angry in a good way and very responsive to the throttle!

    Scotty's Boll Aero Glow

...And it runs! Pretty well anyway. I think it could use a little more carb and/or a little less prop, but I am rather satisfied at this point. (Sorry I-phone users, you may not hear the awesomeness. I had to downsize the video to an mp4.)

    Scotty's Boll Aero Glow

Here is my rendition of the Boll Aero Glow .49 cu in. It is a simple and nice engine to build, not too big or too small. I enjoyed the build and finally got the motivation to finish it up and get it running so I could cross it off of my build list.

For Sale Post Cabin Fever Sale Items

Thanks for the reply, I looked around a bit and I don't think that tool holder will work on my post. Have a great day.

Maybe interested in some of that, like backsplash and toolpost stuff. I have an A to Z QCTP, any idea if the 0XA tool holder will work with my toolpost?

Building a twin cylinder inline i.c. engine.

Assuming we are talking 4 stroke, that theory works on a horizontally opposed twin, one ignition every 360 degrees, 0, 360, 720 (0). I think an inline twin ends up firing differently, like 180, 540. I may have to think about that some more for it to become clear in my mind. That is also...

Sold KEEPING - Complete and Clean Set of MODEL ENGINE BUILDER - Issues 1 through 27

Hey Grasshopper, how valuable do you think your set is? As Vietti stated, these are IN-valuable and Gary did get a bargain. Said with humor in mind and not trying to be a total smart #$$ . This is a nice set to have and only $6 something each, and I am not 100% firm on that.

Sold KEEPING - Complete and Clean Set of MODEL ENGINE BUILDER - Issues 1 through 27

I collected this set over time and haven't really looked at them for a while. These are all of the issues that were available in print, everything after is digital only. All issues are in great condition and complete with all drawings, and lots of great articles. I am thinking $175 plus...
