Ok, here is the situation. I sold an item on Ebay and now I have some tooling money on hand. So what do you consider great tooling to have on hand you wouldn't want to be without. I am currently going to buy the multi position V Block, little hogger end mills and a few small items.

Picked up a new tool at the Flea Market this week end.

I have been using a HF portable band saw for 9 years and it has served me well until last week it developed a crack in the front handle and the main handle has been broken for years. I decided it was time to buy a new one but I was having trouble spending $300 for a new one (I wanted a Milwaukee...

Right size vise for the X3 mill.

What size vise do you recommend for the X3 mill. I have a 4 inch in the shopping cart but I thought a 5 inch might be better. Any opinions on the matter would be appreciated.

Can you shorten a scale on a DRO kit.

Can the scales on this DRO be shortened without damaging the kit. [url]http://www.grizzly.com/products/8-x-20-2-Axis-Digital-Readout-for-Mills/H6087/url] I really don't want to have to modify anything but it looks like i do not have choice if I want a decent DRO for and X3 mill.

Ok here is the dumb question of the day, does anyone know if the 8178 power feed offered for the X3 mill disengage so you can use the hand wheel? I have looked at the owners manual on line and I cannot tell how you disengage the motor from the system. I am missing something somewhere. Thanks
