    Brian builds Atkinson Engine

Brian Glad to see that you finally got it running. You changed so many things at the end that we will never know for sure what the problem was that prevented it from running earlier. Anyway I guess you should get a for your perseverance. Cheers :) Don

    Avast shipmates!

Propforward Funny thing, when I was posting the above note I was thinking about putting in a piece about you taking a drive up to Thunder Bay to Tim Horton's. It would be a nice ride if the weather was good. I lived in Thunder Bay for 5 years back in the 70's. Good luck with getting a Timmie's...

    Brian builds Atkinson Engine

Brian Well it looks like plan #1, 2, 3 and 4 haven't produced a running engine as yet because you always let us know as soon as you get it running. Go back and check steps 1, 2 and 3 in my last post. You get those right and I bet your engine will run just fine. Good luck Cheers :) Don

    Avast shipmates!

Propforward Several years ago Krispy Kreme came to town and built a big fancy doughnut shop about 2 blocks away. They were all set to take over the doughnut business in the Kitchener-Waterloo twin cities area. Tim Horton are the doughnut kings in Canada. They also have some shops in the US...

    Brian builds Atkinson Engine

Brian I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Increasing the bore of your engine is not going to solve the problem of why it is not running. You should already know this. In order to build a fire you need 3 things. 1. Fuel - something to burn 2. Oxygen - you can't have a fire without...

    Valve Lapping Machine

Brian What you want is a round stick with a suction cup on one end to stick to the valve. Then just rub your hands back and forth and twirl the stick. Should be cheap and simple. Cheers :) Don

    Trout Shows His Elmer

Gail That's what happens when you are newly retired and haven't learned yet what to do with all that extra time. He knows that he has to appear busy or SWMBO will find something to keep him busy. Dennis I have to agree with what Gail said "That is seriously very nice." Thanks also for...

Gail In NM - He's Back

Gail Glad to see that you are getting things back and still fighting for more. I hope that your scooter has wheelie bars on it. I wouldn't want to hear that you flipped it over trying to race that little old lady from Pasadena. That scooter looks like the ideal means for getting around. Are...
