    Ford Quadricycle

A great build! I'm gathering materials for my own build in the near future and was wondering what material you used for the cylinders. Is it DOM? Are you going with the ignitor or sparkplug for your ignition? I bought the plans from MR. DeAngelis but there are a lot of gaps that need to be...

I made this tool a long time ago to hold parts that have angled faces that would otherwise be impossible to hold. It is simply silver soldered together.

    1/6 Galloway engine

I haven't built that engine but I have built a Domestic with that mixer. Everything was right on the engine but it wouldn't run. Turns out I was getting my compression from the mixer and the intake valve was sticking open. Polished the intake stem and it hasn't quit since.

Which rotary table should I buy?

Get the largest you can afford and get on your machines. They are hard enough to clamp parts to without having to worry about enough room. I don't have a phase II but have heard good reports of them.

    Parcel and weed

Two years ago I had never built an engine but I took the jump and tried it. That is the first hurdle. Experience is a good teacher. You wiil be making a lot of parts over again but you needed the experiwence anyway right. I will offer any advice I can but am also still learning.

    Parcel and weed

This is an engine I built from the plans in the book "Gas Engine Construction". The book shows you how to build a horizontal engine and I wanted a vertical so I redid it to suit me. The book calls for castings to be made but I made everything from bastock.

    finished model I.C. engine

The ignition is a buzz coil made from a 12 volt automotive relay. It is activated from a set of points on the side of the engine. That is indeed the set of plans you need. The ones I got didn't have the detail for the hit and miss govenor. I designed that from info gathered on the web. It is...
