    Running on Air -

Pat, Thanks for your kind remarks. Yes - lots of parts. The process is a bit different from most projects, you folks are all machinists. And very good ones at that. I have machined and built a number of small engines, of the Stuart D10 variety, and built a number of model boats to run them...

For Sale Stuart Turner model set

Greetings, I am in Colorado, and have bought, sold, built, a number of stuart engines in the past 10 years. To set a price, I would go to the Stuart Website, and look at the price for the units as un-built, un-machined casting kits. This is because each of the units will need to be rebuilt...

    Stuart Compound Twin Build -

Kept on working the bearing blocks and then moved on to the sol plate. I used a 1/4" round end mill. On the blocks I went down to about .115 to give me something to work with when I brought the pieces together. Then I used the same mill on the Sol Plate to mill the opposing grooves...

    Stuart Compound Twin Build -

In the preceding months, I did work on the pistons and started the cross-slides. But I decided to work on the lower section first. I messed up the first LP Piston, so I had to use a slug of mild steel to replace the Cast Iron.
