I have about 2 tons of chestnut coal from the 60's when my grandfather put in oil. I also live in N E PA coal country it has sat outside and needs to by rewashed I burnt some about 5 years ago in a small coal stove, burnt fine. Is this good for blacksmiths?

Not the motor I am scared of -- its the adoptation to the lathe that scares me. I emailed the auction, he says its in good shape, the controller and motor are not sherline, doesn't know if its the stock motor mount I'll be watching it till 11.30 when it ends. Wish me luck.
