Problems with face cutting on lathe, wavy pattern

I changed my belts to link belts and the problem went away. I have a Grizzly lathe 12x36, belts were from McMasters.

Stirling Engine from Norm Jones drawings

I found the problem, ya have to read all the instructions, I used low temp silver solder instead of silver braze so its back to the lathe to make the proper cylinder.

    Anybody want to guess---

Even tho the cost was figured on prices 8 years ago I assume Canadian dollars that is about what right for the cost today in US dollars . Of .then you would have to factor in labor and aluminum/brass costs .

I have a friend that ask if I would sell my Webster if not, what it would cost to make one. I had not given it any thought to selling one prior to him asking, and I don't ever remember seeing one for sale. Has anyone sold one? Or seen one priced.

Having completed my Webster I was curious if anyone was running theirs on gasoline. I am currently using Coleman lantern fuel with a few drops of Marvel Mystery Oil. If so did the timing change on gas? I use gas in my Ford engines with no problem but they use cast iron rings as opposed to the...
