    I guess I need to put my 2C in to. I haven't seen any calculations on power. It takes 746 watts for one HP of mechanic motion. The rule of thumb is to size your engine 1.5 x larger then generator. Of coarse you are using it as a demo and can get by with 1.2 x the generator. This is not an exact...

    Mini Lathe Tool Lifting, Should I Remove the Compound Rest?

    I have the Micro Mark lathe and the same has happen to mind. You have to adjust the gibs on the under carriage also. I refitted the compound slide and cross slide with bigger gib adjust screws this helps a lot. But the Chinese lathe will not give you any better results without lapping the slide...
