    The bell tells us when it's time to drop in a board. The boards separates the bales & has guides to thread the wire through.

    Ref: Bell Made my own plans, based off a photo I saw online. First I bought a replica hotel bell from eBay & designed the rest of it around the 3" dia. bell. the star wheel is 5 1/8" in diameter. The teeth are about 1/2" deep into the bale tunnel.

    The flat blank was calculated & then drawn in AutoCad. CNC machined the perimeter with scores cut 1/3rd material thickness deep where the bends are. Folds up nice.

    Cutting the 60 tooth gear teeth Cutter Speed 170 rpm .0015 chip load @ tooth Took about 4.5hrs. for this one About 8 hrs. for both of the 96 tooth gears stacked together
