Here's the links.

Birk's Hypocycloidal

Stews Potty elbow engine

Metal Butcher's #41
.
Its not fair that I can only vote for one of the engines. th_rulze

Great job on all three engines.

I really like the gear setup on Birks.

Stews elbow engine required painstaking precision and I really like the just right amount of "Bling".

Metal Butchers engine is a great example of clean classic industrial lines.

All three engines are wonderful examples of craftsmanship.

Good luck.

That's not very nice.

Please feel free to post pictures of the model engines you've made. Seriously, maybe you can teach us something. We are all here to learn!

Once again a banner month.

Choosing just seems wrong somehow. All contributed excellent information in the posts, all 3 were outstanding in craftsmanship and all 3 had big, beautiful pictures!

Man, this is getting to be like a job....

Good luck guys, you all deserve it!

Good one Dean,
I would have had something to say also.

So, that aside who do I vote for  scratch.gif :noidea:.....

To all the nominees Thm: Good luck to you all. All great builds!

ok before starting an absoulute S*** fight.
ok i am yet to make complete engines, what i have made is the complete head of a datsun 1200 using a manual lathe, valves, fuel injection for the car.
none of this came with plans, im simply not a fan of plans. an idea yes but i love the challange of working this out, sorry for offending anyone.

We all have our preferences and I understand the "flying by the seat of the pants" approach since I'm also known for building things as I go. However the comments about lack of originality are a bit uncalled for and frankly, offensive. We've built this board on the idea that we accept builds from all levels of skill as well as style preferences.

You are welcome to base your vote on whatever criteria you wish, but I'll personally delete any post you make, if it denigrates a builder who has made an honest best effort. That isn't happening here.....Get my drift?

Steve

i stated that it was somthing i highly praise. not that i think anyone who doesnt have it or do it is anything derogitry.
just that it is simply what i appreciate.
i understand about deleting my posts but i can hardly see how stating what i like is a deletable offece??

Hi Guys
This really is a toughie, all the builds I've seen so far are superb.
pity we can only have one winner.
I have seen one i would like to vote for, but how do i go about voting.

The Very best of luck to all nominees, great builds all of them

Kendo:

You should be seeing a poll at the top of this page... just click on the dot next to the one you want to vote for. Sadly, we can't click on all three. Another month with a damned tough decision, they are all winners in their own ways.

Congrats to all the nominees

Cheers, Joe

I must say for my first post I hate to have to only vote for 1 of them. These are 3 awesome builds and the craftsmanship is EXCELLENT. Brian 8)
