Hi,
I need to buy one of these http://www.cooperhandtools.com/brands/CF_Files/model_detail.cfm?upc=037103213099 but the Crescent/Cooper Tools agent here in Portugal say that they never stocked this model pliers and for me to buy it I would have to place a minimum order of 18 units :eek:

Since this pliers is made in USA, and if I try to find on the web, I get all kind of suppliers that I know nothing of and I'm afraid to get ripped off on the deal.

If someone in the forum from the US could get one of these pliers for me, I'm willing do send a money order of the value (price + shipping in advance) and then you could send it to me by mail.

I know this is an awkward request but I don't really trust the hundreds of on-line stores.
 
i used to get those all the time but for the life of me cant remember where. they are fence pliers here . they work great at cutting wire bending ect. do you have a fence business there. they would know. i got mine in Portland Oregon here in the states. ill give a hunt down and see if i can find out where i got mine from.
 

how about these guys . they seem to have them all. i like the 8 inch models with tapered nose.

We do electric motor rewinding and these pliers are very helpful in the stripping of the burnt coils in the motor. I used to have one when I was back in South Africa. A few years ago. Here, the only one similar I could find was one from Heyco but it's nothing like the one from Crescent. I need to replace it that's why I'm looking for that particular model.

I am lucky to have found someone in the US that helps me with receiving and on-shipping stuff.

Often honey works better than vinegar though!
