I found this site a while ago. I've been reading a lot of the posts.
I've been bitten by the steam engine bug.
I'm recently retired and have a small shop set up in my garage. I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out how.
I just won a Stuart 10V kit on "the Bay". also bought the book on how to build a vertical steam engine from castings.
I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions as I progress with this project.

I'm over in Seminole, in Pinellas County. You're not very far from me. In fact my oldest son lives in Plant City.
I'd be interested in getting together.
 
I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome.
Hopefully I'll start on my engine in a couple of weeks.
