Ok so while outside a distant memory came up.

Have any of you engineers of this group been involved with a test of “ one” in in other words the project must hit the target dead on its only test
No pro longed testing hit and misses ? And must survive to expected limits . I attended a week long seminar sponsored by the USA military , a product our company was developing was to go into some kind of ordinance we were never did get to see it just specs we ere supposed to get to go up in th B 52 that was going to drop it but we got cancelled out at the last minute so we didn’t get to have fun.
The fun thing in the end was my part was to design a support structure to support all the interior srts hen it hit the ground That was the reason for the test of “ one”. We already had telemetry devices for this . The electronics guy gave me his models soni incorporated his stuff no my stuff for calculation . I told him his stuff was not going to survive even landing in the desert sand “ my stuff not fail, you see in his broken accent . Long story short the object completely missed the target and landed in the rocky surrounding area the military couldn’t find it at firs until they located our frequency Every thing inside the object was smashed flat on top of the support structure We were examining the mess and I Ickes up a piece with a short wire hanging or. I knew very well it was part of hiS electronic stuff . I said what’s this ? Looks like a dead mouse . He said “ he said not need to know, top secret “ I did a great roll eyes . LOL so much for test of” one” Anyway Has anyone else done this stuff .

Started rebuilding my Bridgeport today

Finally got finished with my office shelving. I used 6” lengths of 12mm rebar drilled into brick to secure. 4 on each shelf, epoxied in place. The material is 11” wide, 1” thick, window sill/ sideboard. Finished with eggshell almond good old oil paint.👍

Not much snow but it’s very cold 3 deg F right now . Dental spot today I don’t know why only have a few teeth left . They will probably want to sell me a bunch of implants I can’t afford .

I just got the first ss increase . It will help but it most surely won’t buy my vote

Best part about this year's SS increase is that Medicare B went down, so we didn't lose have of the bump. I'm still not sorry I left at 68 instead of hanging around another two years.

Well today was a disaster my scheduled dental spot mysteriously disappeared My care giver didn’t show up has not returned my call So I’ve been sitting here in confusion. Numerous calls to dental places show no spot. Just great . I didn’t want it anyway . I’ve been in and out side looking for some transportation car . Nothing the dental place I had a phone number for has no record . I’ve now missed lunch and dinner is a ways away . Even the garbage and recycle trucks didn’t show . Well it just means more trash when they do . So how much is one day of an old persons life worth? I should give all a bill . LOL I SUPPOSE at the pearly gate I could tell St. Peter that I need an extra day . As I was robbed . Well I just got a new spot. So we will see how that goes .

I finished a plumbing repair.
The sink/washer drain in the basement, I DO like that PVC. I had to rip out some piping between iron & PVC, & glued one end up to a union, & used a "Fernco" fitting to re-connect it to the stub of iron piping I left (Don't want to mess with that. it's buried in the ground).

Being a geek, I downloaded the PVC CAD files from McMaster-Carr to determine some pipe lengths but can't get my CAD computer to start (Bad hard drive). But, I winged it with a level & tape measure. Old school. It was actually an enjoyable project & went off without a hitch. We're so spoiled these days with technology, I even went back to my trig tables book to refresh my memory (Not that it required that precision, I just needed to go back to it.)

Mama's happy.

I took mine at 62 then worked part time. Was doing pretty well until my wife got ovarian cancer the second time. I had to quit and stay home to take care of her. When she passed in December 2015 the shop was closing. I still worked at home a little but the income was half.

Not doing anything yet more snow looks like several inches wet snow. I’ll be out did before long I&R blood test today Dental fell though some how so rescheduled it I think I’ll try the powdered eggs again today I wouldn’t say they were yummy the last time but scrambled in microwave was quick easy and not messy plus cheap . $7.00 for whole eggs makes the powdered ones much tastier lol just got ne Cheerios from Amazon so bowl of them will be good the remaining milk gets a little more and a couple spoons of nestles warmed in micro wave so hot choc too . For me a good breakfast . I think there might be a couple frozen waffles too I warm them in toaster then add cinnamon .

Sidewalk is done snow plow dumped his usual load right on my sidewalk so I usher it all back out in the street he will have to make another pass plus I added the mess by the trash bins . I&R blood specialist just left . So that’s done now for breakfast . Then I have the rest of the day to myself and kitty we already brushed the first time so she is curled up on electric blanket I set on low otherwise it’s too warm for her . I finally found my tap drill for 3mm screws so maybe I can get at least one turbine and generator mounted I still can’t find my tap guide . If I could get out to the shop I’d just make a new one

Inflation in 2015 was 0.12%, so no, you didn't get an increase, but it wasn't because of who was president.
Those statistics are lies. On just about every stat of that sort where the government makes them up, add about 5 points. remember when they were telling you unemployed were about 8%? Well the reall unemployed was about 15%. Recently, that is a few years back, unemployment was about 24%. Yest the statistics said it was only 12, and they way they did the stats, the 12% was correct--however, they only counted people who were going to the official employment agencies and those applying or unemployment compensation. It didn't matter to the bean counters that at least another 12% quit looking for work thru the employment agencies. The same with the supposed cost of living. Reegoon changed the statistical nature of how inflation was calculated. He took out lots of necessities claiming they were unnecessary. Well, give him his due, any man whose buttbuddies would give him 1000$ pair of cowgirl boots (just for a little favor, of course and that 1000$ would translate into about 15000$ in today's $$), must be right, no?

In short, I don't trust anything my government claims, they too often are in the pocket of corporations theat have too much to lose.
