I recently purchased a set of aluminum castings. The engine is designed differently than the cast iron version.

Might help if you say what engine it is

EDIT I see it is the PMResearch drilling engine

Did not think they made an aluminium one, is it possible you have a set of pirate recasts taken from original castings?

No the guy at pmresearch I talked to said they sold those back when they were also selling the all bronze version and he said that there are sutle differences in those old castings like the steam box is 3 pieces. The cover the frame or box and the base which is part of the cylinder casting. The flywheel is different too

The Bronze version of the pmresearch 1880s drill engine is of the same design as the aluminum version I am seeking prints for. If that helps at all.
