Good day all,

I've been stooging around some old copies of Aeromodeller magazine (circa 1943/44). There is quite a lot of correspondence about L.H. Sparey's design for a 5/6cc. engine, including a GA drawing showing the concept. Does anyone out there know if he ever published the plans to make this engine? I am aware that plans are available from Hemingway, but I would really like to see the originals if they can be found somewhere. Thanking you in advance for any clues,

cheers John K.

Possibly published in the mag in 1946 and also in Laidlaw-Dickenson's book "Model Diesel Engines" based on Model Engine News site. Books can be picked up second hand quite cheaply. mags possibly on e-bay.

Don't know if hemingway have changed anything on the drawings except for redrawing in CAD.

I have the book with the engine drawing and the construction details. I could scan the lot but as a starter here is a scan of the drawing. Ask if you want the rest. [It is not easy to scan a file spanning two pages without breaking the spine of the book.] This has not reproduced well, so pm me for a better version.
