"normal coolant...... the white stuff.".....Diluted at the normal rate?
Thanks

think the stuff i have is 1 part water 30-40 oil. but yes, normal rate.

I use more of the white stuff as tend to open the taps up (as they say) the air blows the chips out of deep pockets etc.
WD40 lasts for months as it only drips in the air flow every few seconds and works more of a lubricant than a coolant.

What type of coolant, are people using?
Cheers

I am using Kool Mist. The recommendation is 4 oz per Imperial gallon. Lots of claims, good for machinery, environmentally safe etc. I'm a little skeptical since it irritates eyes and skin. Not good for sitting in a cloud of mist for hours. Thinking of making a simple squeeze bar to restrict the coolant flow in the clear plastic tube that runs to the reservoir. The reservoir should have a few pounds pressure in it to get the fluid flowing.

I like the sound of WD40, as I've got a couple of 5L cans on the self :)
I rigged my mister up this afternoon, just messing with it, using just plain water, and I was very impressed with it, found it quite controllable. I might later on, use compressed air via a regulator, to pressure feed the coolant tank, to feed the mister head.
Thanks.
