Hi HMEMs,
I've just finished the replica of Richard's Trevithick's Dredger Steam Engine. It took me almost a year to build the model (I wish I had more time for my passion ;)). Comparing to original I've made slight modifications (mainly due to the model scale):
- instead of solid fuel I've installed gas burner
- spring safety valve
- water pump is dummy device
- revision hatch is replaced by sight-glass
The model is called Daga VII - a tribute to my wife.

Videos like that make this hobby worthwhile, I can imagine the feeling of satisfaction you must experience every time you hear it chug away. Good one. Cheers, Peter.

The is a nice looking machine. A year ago I built a replica of Trevithick's steam locomotive. It was a fun project.
