My name is Paul, I live in Luxembourg. I am a retired Boiler house operator with a small machine shop in the basement. I started steam model engineering about 15 years ago and have studied plenty of steam literature by this time. Have special interest in steam engines and all kinds of copper steam boilers. Many thanks for signing me up. Welcome to all the wonderful mechanics in this forum, there is a lot to learn from you folks.

Hello Edi, thank you for the warm welcome. You're right, where do you look first and what do you build next? Good luck with you in your projects.
I like your avatar very well, great engine, very elaborately built.

Paul

Hello Jenny, thank you for the friendly inclusion in the forum. There is no doubt in that, I will broaden my horizons a lot. I'm self-taught as a lathe & mill operator. My job was to maintain steam boilers, steam generators, drive as economically as possible, and prepare for annual inspections. The water treatment of large systems require meticulous attention every day, even in automated operation. Health and safety and the environment are not negligible. I think, the place here is just right.

Best Regards,

Paul

Hello Apprentice707,

I've already noticed, will sift through the columns and improve my knowledge properly.
