Recently I made a Vee grooved jaw for my Milling vise. Then a couple friends wanted jaws, so I am offering to make some more for the folks here.
These jaws are made of D2 steel, Hardened to 60HRC, and ground all surfaces. The Vee jaw is 2" high rather than the 1.75 of stock height, This position allows the vee to not cut through the bolt counterbore on the moveable jaw. so only the fixed jaw is removed and replaced with the Vee grooved jaw. The horizontal Vee will hold down to 3/16 diameter round stock. The vertical Vee will hold 1/4 minimum diameter. If you want smaller, I can do whatever you would like it to be. The dimensions I have match a 6" Kurt vise, if you provide dimensions I can make it fit what ever you have.

These are the Vee jaws, vee jaws.jpg

The step jaws are standard height. With 1/8" step in each jaw, the vertical portion is reliefed 3 degrees, to yield a sharp corner.

The 1 Vee jaw is $70, 75 with vertical as well, Matched step Jaws $90, $100 with two threaded holes for dead stops. 48 states $8 shipping. PP preferred.

Yes, the photos did not attach correctly. I have found that to avoid losing unfinished post, when problems occur, post what you have then fix the errors in edit. You caught me between corrections.
