In the last three years I have built a Shed and equipped it with a Lathe and Mill ect.
My farther B Terry Aspin author of Backyard Foundry and other titles Mad several small four stroke engines and steam Locomotives.
As a child growing up he never involved me in his model engineering workshop.but recently I have got the bug.
So I have made a few steam engines and a 2cc Diesel which runs and recently I made from plans the Whiticker Fierfly .46 ci Glow engine.

Now after that ramble I am trying to build the Firefly 46 as a four stroke.

And this why I think I am barking up the wrong tree.

What do you think ?.

Thanks

Keith

Looks like you are heading in the right direction.

I have a feeling that there was a 4-stroke done by someone, definately a Diesel out there somewhere. I just did the Glow.

Good job but...
It is very dangerous to adjust the engine by passing the arm as you do
