Hallo Natalefr,
Thanks for your interest in my Model Engine Thread.
I do try to make my own small model combustion engines beneath my hobby tinkering at old factory model engines.
I have many doubts if the combustion engine will survive because of the dirty air there come a lot of chances for other kind of engines i think.
However at this stage it's still possible to try to make a little motor my own which only runs for a short time after finishing the job then another new project is already on my desk again .It keeps me busy and alive which is a very good thing in my opinion.
About my latest project the MP 3,2 cc MODEL ENGINE there still need to be made a Piston,a Conrod and a Wristpin after assembling the engine it will have to run let us hope so.You will see one photo from several engines i already made till today, missing is a big 8,02 cc glow engine with side exhaust and rear rotary valve looks great and sturdy will send a picture later on.
A few runners are already in my possesion under [email protected]

Hallo Model Engine Friends,
I did had to make some new parts for my MP 3.2 cc model glow engine because of the fact that i did n't like the first examples and enough time now with an age of 68 years to make some new parts which i like more.
I hope that you like the new parts i made till now as well.

Many greetings from modelmotor-Gerard-The Netherlands-Europe.

Hallo Model Engine Friends,
After a long time of absence because of medical problems which throw me in a mood of having lost a great bit of my interest in making model engines i decided to finish the MP 3,2 cc when i feel Ok to do so.
I do n't know if there will come a continuation of this beautifull hobby.
I do have a lot of factory engines as well and i often had the idea to make missing parts for these engines and try to let them run just like in former days.
I did n't make much photos last couple of months because there were no further parts finished or even started with.
So i send the last photos i made before i start visiting the hospital to often i hope you like them.

,any greetings from modelmotor-Gerard-The Netherlands-Europe.

I like your posts. I'm hope your lathe chuck never picks up the rags under it. That could be a huge safety problem.

Hallo bdrmachine,
You have fully right by warning me about the safety risk when the rags wold picked up by the Chuck from my Lathe.
I normally use a piece of cotton on the bed of my lathe to protect my lathe from small Cast Iron particles which will come free when turning a short bar of Cast Iron to make the Piston from for my MP 3,2 cc.I will take care when putting some protection material under the chuck because an accident can happen very fast you are right so thank you for your reply/warning message.

many greetings from modelmotor-Gerard-The Netherlands-Europe.

Hallo Model EngineFriends
I just would start reaming the liner for my model engine.I use for that purpose a adjustable handreamer from the Factory of "Hunger" situated in Germany-Europe!
Normale these Reamers are ideal for this kind of work and made very presizely from high quality steel .I found a problem with my Reamer and that's a broken Nut for the adjustment to make at one of both sides of this reamer.
After making a few phonecalls i found out that Nut was available in my hometown so i have to order for this Nut directly by Hunger Germany. It seems that the screw thread in the Nut has been broken at two placesand that either the Nut or that part of the Reamer that's functioning by the Nut has a kind of deformation. My photos will show you what i mean at least i hope that they are giving a clear sight on the small pieces of the broken screw thread from the Nut and the deformation from that part of the Reamer that needs to be used to make the correct adjustments at the Reamer. It seems that the Nut could turn nomore easily on that part of the Reamer itself.

Hallo Model Engine Friends,
Here are the last photos at this moment from my MP 3,2 cc model glow engineMissing parts are already made as well.I have had several problems with making the portings in the Liner and still it is n't as it should be.My knowledge about this subject is not available enough to succeed so i will first try to find out what's the best way of making the portings into the liner. My illness is with me each day and makes that i can n't do much need to live more carefully not risking stress and getting tyred of all the things during the day.
However i will go further with an engine i finished succesfully ,but with a bad made piston so an engine which can run as tried ,but which still needs to have a much better compression.
I hope you like these photo's as well.
