The engine is inspired by Jan Ridder's thermo-pulse engine. It is called Daga VI :)

Fantastic. Was it difficult to get to run? For some reason the engines that look the simplest are often problematic (like flamelickers). But I would like to build one someday.
 
No, it was rather easy. Two afternoons: changing the volumes (position of restrictor) and machining new piston (first one was too loose) made the engine running.
