I'm looking for a 1"x6"x12" piece of 4140 crs. Online Metals doesn't carry flat bar so I tried Metals Depot. When you call them, the voice says "small quantity source for metals" or something like that.
The price for a six foot piece is $650 I asked for the price of a 12" length: $350.
How in the hell do you divide 6 feet by 6 and come up with half?
Everything about the company says it's friendly to the small shop owner. What liars they are.
