Every year, on the 25th of April, Australia and New Zealand commemorate the WW1 battle at Gallipoli, we lost so many young men there. It is also a day that we give thanks to all ex servicemen and women. Dawn services are held throughout the country as well as marches by ex servicemen, their families and current serving members.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the battle of Gallipoli and the number of people turning out was outstanding. My wife and I attended the march in Melbourne this year, as spectators. The march went for 3 hours in drizzling rain, but it did not deter anyone, all the people marching were greeted with applause.

Thank you to all those who have fought for our freedom.

Lest We Forget.

The morning over here in the West was massive.

The turnout for the Gosnells service was enormous, Great to see the kids paying their respects too.
