Sorry I haven't been on for quite some time as sometimes life gets in the way. I have not been doing anything in my workshop as I'm trying to finish my home renovations. Have now completed 17 rooms and 3 rooms left to go as well as finishing the outside landscaping. I'm looking to get it all finished by early next year and then sell up and move to our other house for an early retirement. I'm really looking forward to this so I can then spend my days in the workshop doing what I love. I have dropped in here regularly for a brows but not posted as I don't have anything to offer at the moment. I hope all you fellows are doing well and hopefully I will be back when my headaches are behind me, 4 years of renovations if enough to drive anyone up the wall :redface2::redface2:
 
I know the feeling all too well. neen in the middle of a bathroom renovation, that lead into renovating about half the house. Im in the home run now, just a bit of painting left to finish up and a couple pieces of trim work, Then its shop time!!
 
No not on the water I'm afraid but our other place has water views:) we bought the house as well aged to fix up as dual occupancy as a project for our retirement fund knowing we got it at a good price and keeping costs down by doing the renovations myself. It's a good large 900 sq meter corner block with bus stop 20 meters up the road, shop 300 meter further and school 500 meters and close to rail and freeway. So replacing 30 meters of 1st floor verandas, 2 complete kitchens and a bathroom, 2 stair cases and adding a number of internal walls and painting it's been a long job internally. Then externally removing 80 meters of retaining walls and replacing them and redo all the landscaping, it's hard work on your own.
