Someone on one of the 3D printing forums came across this.

Roland is a company that has been around since the 1970s and is well known for electronic key boards then later for printing vinyl cutting and graphic arts machines.
the work envelope is tiny 2 x 3 x 1 or 50 mm x 75 mm x 25 mm
a great looking little machine . And IIRC the best price I have ever seen for a plug and play micro mill. MSRP $899 shipped to USA
Looking at the above description I am thinking cnc dremmel type tool. still cool though.
This is a tiny machine it fints inside an 8" cube and weighs less than 4 lbs.
This is not the first mill that Roland has built but the pro models go for $8k -40k.
