Doc Watson calling...

Hello everyone from Devon, England.

I have just joined after buying a Sieg x2 clone.

Shop:Machine Mart
Brand:Clarke cmd300

I am a time served fitter with an engineering degree and computing pHd and am currently a lecturer in computing.

I will be using the mill for producing parts to fit into this.....

So first of probably many questions.... what is it?

A 1966 Ford GT40 with a 4.7l v8 with webers.

Hoping to look something like this....

This forum comes up all the time with information about the x2 mill and I hope to contribute to that, then I need a lathe...tig...spot welder.... bigger shed....

Wow, that's unique!

Have you retired EDF VTOL? Assuming you're the same Doc Watson. This goes back quite a few years.

Yes the very same...... as for VTOL... its under my bed packed away.....

Thrust was marginal and the ironic thing is if I go Li-Poly cells it would work now as technology has moved on.
