Hi Guys

Sorry that I have not been around for some time now but I have been in and out of hospital with cancer. I'll come and post as soon as I feel able to start with my project again.

All the best
Xavier

That can be a mean disease. Do what you need to to kick it's butt, and get back to playing with us as time permits.

Best of luck to you!

I'm sorry to hear that. I wish you the best in your recovery!

Thanks guys

I plan to kick butt but like a good old steam engine ya got to have steam and for that steam you need fire well the fire is coming from all the great get well wishes that I'm getting from all over the world, steam is building up and butt kicking has begun. Ha yes LUC the cancer was a simple skin cancer but the little blighter managed to find it's way into the lymph nodes so a hell of a lot of cutting has been going on to get to the end of it, now it will be the radiation that will have to do the clean up work.

Good luck with getting better, man! You aught to ask the doc for all the staples and find a way to incorporate them into an engine! As if to say, "Eff you, cancer!" :)

Holly cow what a mess it turned out into.
I'm a cancer survivor myself, "stomach" it's been 3 years now
All I can say is that the moral itself:wall: will cure it.
I was teaching while doing my radio treatment. All I can say live
to your body's request "if your tired go to bed then and not try
2hrs later" and take all the pill they sugest even if you feel good.

Good luck and hang on, waiting for your next project postingThm:

Hang in there Xavier. Hopefully some shop time will help in recovery

Cheers,
Phil

I am a survivor myself and wish you the best of luck. Radiation wore me out a bit...well maybe quite a bit. But just take it easy and don't push yourself. Work on only small engines!
And most of all, a positive attitude will make whatever medication needed work that much better.

John

Wishing you a speedy recovery, like Walsheng said, a positive attitude is the best approach to overcoming these things.

Paul.

Thanks guys

A very good friend of mine's Dad had a similar operation and it does look better once it's healed up. He's a year outside of his operation and you can only tell if you're looking for it.

I hope the best for you. My mother is now in the hospital with bone cancer & my dad is now 4 years dead. Also cancer......
