I don't know how I missed Lindsay Books closing, but I did.

I want to have a final opportunity to buy a few books before they disappear forever... but I don't have their last catalogue and I cannot find any of the previous ones that I had.

Can anyone point me to a PDF copy? Or would anyone be so kind as to scan their catalogue?

Lindsay has retired. Check their site. They have several links to other dealers that may have some books. Also, check Amazon, Barnes and Noble and E-bay for used copies.

I had thought that Lindsay was fulfilling orders until the 28th. I fully expect many titles to sell out within a few months, and once they are gone the price will increase substantially... I'd rather not pay inflated prices.

I looked at the old time bookstore... not the best site for naming what books are from Lindsay's catalogue and will likely not be available much longer.

No big deal anyway, I already have an extensive library, in fact too big, resulting in my throwing out about 15 boxes of out of date technology books over the last month.

You should be able to get most of books as Lindsay did- from the net.

If it is Holzapfell or smith- Advanced Machine Machine Tool- they ae there.

Probably cheaper to buy secondhand than print off

Tony is a traveling book store that sets up at various engine and model engineering shows throughout the county (USA) I see him at Cabin Fever and Kinzer PA (Rough and Tumble) he supports the hobby by attending shows. When I talked to him last October he said he was planning on updating the wb page over the winter. so check out the web page or contact him for requests.

Yes, including entire collections of a few of my all time favourites Model Engineers Workshop, Wood Magazine and Fine Woodworking.

I have hundreds of industrial age technology books from the turn of the 19th century bookmarked at openlibrary.org. I read or refer to them frequently... what I lack though is project books...
