Hi everybody while doing the leadscrew mod (diary of a sieg lathe) i needed to know the leadscrew thread. After measuring with a vernier, the pitch and diameter and setting a dial indicator to measure the saddle travel i came to the conclusion it is 16dia and 1.5mm pitch. Could also possibly be 5/8" x 16 tpi
can anyone comment or confirm please bazmak

If you are talking about the C1, I believe they come both ways.
I have the ShopFox version and it has 16 pitch and a table for imperial gears. I have a manual for a Sieg C1 and it shows the gearing for Metric gears.

Hi Barry,
If you bought it locally then I would be pretty sure that it is 16 X 1.5
