I have spent many happy hours reading the wealth of information and humour in these pages and thought I should join up.
In my day job I work for a plastic fabricators, doing the drafting, programming the CNC router and doing a bit of turning. Plastic is a fascinating material and we tend to specialise in larger items with fabrications up to 4 tonnes.
My interest in engines centres around small steam engines, say with a bore of 1/2" or less. I have made one working engine so far and am working on the second now. All the work is carried out on a Sieg C3 and a drill press. The C3 is modified for milling and does well at the scale of interest to me.
Photography is my other hobby so should be able to provide some illustrations in due course!
