Hi, my name is Peter and I'm 42 years old. This is my first post on HMEM but I have been here some weeks already.

I bought my mill and lathe for two years ago and have done two small steam engines. My third is on it's way :)

I'm living in south Sweden in a house and have a little workshop in the cellar. I have built rc airplanes since I was 15. And I also builded a camera cradle so I could take photos from a kite (Kite Aerial Photography). I'm not flying kites anymore but instead i got a license for paramotor so I can still take aerial photos :)

I have never built models in metal so this is very exciting for me. A very funny hobby with a lot of problems to solve. And a lot of tools to spend my money on

Here are som pictures from my work shop, my machines and my steam engines. The third engine is a Grasshopper.

A paramotor is an engine that pushes you forward in the air when you use a paraglider. A Paraglider is something like a parachute, but it will fly in a given direction just lake a wing.
Here is a link when I fly my paraglider with the paramotor on my back.

Welcome Peter!
Very nice shop and good looking engine. The Grasshopper was my last engine. Current project is Elmer's #13.
A very excellent reference to the Grasshopper build is ArnoldB's. Take a look.
Best
Stan

Thank you, it will be fun to be here and get help from you all. I'm amazed how fine engines you all are able to build

Bye the way, I forgot to tell you that I work as a graphic designer. And I think I can use some of my experience from illustration when I make engines.

Here are some pictures of some paintings I made with an airbrush.
