I can't believe I just did this. I just placed an order with Enco. I only had $50.00 that I could spend. So, I carefully selected items that I need for my current build (GailInNM's Lobo Pup Twin) and some additional tooling. So, I am all proud of myself because my total came to $50.15 with the free shipping. Thm:

Then it just dawned on me; I failed to order the 0-80 and 2-56 cap screws! *bang* I didn't have them on the list that I was working off of that I created months ago. Oh well; I'll just have to wait until I place my next order 6+ months from now. Forget the local hardware stores. Who knows, maybe I'll take a crack at making them if I get all the other pieces done before that. :wall:

I think Brian (Rupnow) isn't going to like your thread title. :)

Do you have any nearby hobby shops that specialize in RC aircraft/cars or scale model railroading? Such might have what you need though you'll pay more than ordering bulk from Enco.

My bad with the spelling. Thanks dsquire for fixing it.

There is a HobbyTownUSA about a 1/2 hour away from me that carries some RC stuff. The next time I get over that way I will have to check it out. Thanks Marv.

HI, why bother waiting, running around, or making them. I know the feeling when I forget to order somthing. I just received my Enco order today, (got it right this time!) many shcs. I have plenty of the the following sizes. If you can use some of them to finish your Lobo build send me a PM. I can send them out in a small jiffy bag NC.

2-56 x 1/4"
2-56 x 3/8"
2-56 x 1/2"
0-80 x 3/8"

Have you heard of, or, checked out 'Micro Fasteners'?

Cheers,
Chazz

MB- Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, the 2-56 screws that you have would be too short and the 0-80 would be too long.

Chazz- Thanks. I'll check them out.

Been there, done that m'self! I've always had good results by calling their customer service dept and asking them to add stuff to an order. No problemo.

+1 on the Micro Fasteners!
