Protection to Micro lathe power supply?

How about something like this. https://www.amazon.com/Manual-Reset-Circuit-Breaker-Automobile/dp/B09SQ3JGVF?th=1

Just in case anyone was wondering about the progress of this. Hobbies take a backseat for a month or two. It is tax season in the Czech Republic and working with my accountant wife takes priority. Back soon.

Building a twin cylinder inline i.c. engine.

I know this is an old video and Bryan has adjusted the valve timing but I believe at that time he had one side firing. He also changed out plugs, ignition to confirm OK. Just me but I don't like anything ''Tight'' on a small engine, especially around the valves, as they need to move quickly...

Is this rod appropriate for piston rings & cylinder liners?

It's an old box spanner, possibly plug spanner. Could be any type of steel, probably cheap. Certainly not cast.

Have you checked the fuel to both cylinders? You now have twin carbs.

    Longboy's "Split Mono" engine!

Lovely engine. What purpose does the design serve other than taking side load off the piston.

I don't know how long this process takes but you are probably taking too much time to score and break. Glass starts to ''heal'' after scoring and the process should be fairly quick. Seconds not minutes.

I wanted to make the demand valve look more like a valve than the typical square box. Relieving the main block around the ports would be nice. Unfortunately I don't think that's achievable without a mill or two weeks of dremel work. I found the carbide bits blocking up too easily with aluminium.

Do you know how many of yours have been made. I have seen quite a few while researching. One thing I did notice was that Gardners have many variations of each engine type they made. I don't know if this has been the result of ''maintenance'' changes by owners or factory variations - Made to...
