One piece at a time. Surely you can do or figure out one piece. Then move on to the next. I am in the process of building a 9 cyl radial. One piece at a time. Been one piecing it for 2 1/2 years now. If you are over this way and I can help get in touch
possibly a palmer marine engine? they had a cross flow design like that with two cams and two gears. it is called a T head design. there were plans available for this engine from Dick Upshur from Chester Pa. I am pretty sure he is dead now and the plans may not be available. I built this engine...
If you are looking for aluminum the best price I have found is at aluminumyard.com. depending on the shape it is $3.00 a pound or less. Call and ask for Darrell. they are in Wichita Kansas and will ship ups or usps. Just bought two 3 foot pieces of 1/2" aluminum rod and it was $12.00 including...

Hawks Nest State park. On route 60 south east of Charleston West Virginia. A very scenic road and a cool view of the Gauley River and bridge. The bridge is the one they bungee jump off of and is very tall. The best part is you park and its about a 50 foot walk to the view so no huge time commitment

Like I said check PM RESEARCH web site. the have straight model pipe threads that use sealant to seal. They also have RECENTLY started offering tapered fittings and taps and dies.
