    Another Cam Grinder

So, just to get my head around it, if it was a scaling system whereby the pattern was scaled down I could use a bearing cam follower. But, as its a 1:1 system a large radius follower is needed. R

    Another Cam Grinder

Hi Achim, amazing work and very inspiring. Can you please explain why you have used a follower the same size as the wheel instead of a roller, does this stop inaccuracies creeping in? I am well on the way to having one based on your design and this is the final point. Kind regards, R

    Alternative Firing

If using a wasted spark, on a twin would you not want the trigger magnets on the camshaft, therefore running at half engine rpm and only firing at the correct point or would it not matter so much if the trigger magnets were on the crankshaft therefore running at engine rpm? Tyres - How?

Where are you based Dan? You've got my interest going. I will have a go at 3D modelling some tyres over the next few weeks but I will lean on you for your experience in silicone rubber moulding. Do you have any examples of what you have done? Thanks R

    Hello from Leicestershire UK

Hi Tom, Where abouts in Leicestershire are you? Im sure many other members would also be interested in seeing a photograph of your 3/4" traction engine. They may look small on the ground but look massive on the bench! Rob,

    Am I missing something?!

I have often seen really high prices for things, £800+ over what they normally are, and I can only think that instead of removing the listing they just put the price up to stop people buying them whilst something gets sorted behind the scenes. Its the only reason I can put to it. Ask the...

    Fairbanks 80HP 3 Cylinder Model

This model is going to look amazing when done! It's builds like this that make me want to start a new project, I then remember that I have at least 6 on the go and that my new years resolution was to not start anything new :( Watching with great interest :) Rob.
