Mine is a piece of 11/2" X 1 1/2" pine scrap I had laying around. It is for my 4 jaw which is bigger than the 3 jaw.

I have a few used air chisels from work. was wondering if I could use them as cutting tools for my lathe after I grind them down to something usable? I have attached a pic of them.

I have one in my toolbox at work. It is called a springloaded center punch. 2 springs, one heavy one in top one lighter one by tip, with a small eccentric. When you push it trips the eccentric and drives the tip into the work to make your mark.sorry cant explain it any better need more coffee...
