As a veteran living in California, you will find out that they give nothing away. If you are a disabled veteran 50% you can get a reduced fee on a hunting/fishing license. As for a free license plate you must be 100% disabled. Thank you for your service, and good luck.

I just use a Adjustable Pin Spanner Wrench. I just hook it on the splins and use a wrench to tighten or loosen the draw bar. So far no damage to the splined shaft.

Spirex makes automatic drain valves and this could be a componet of one. Just my 2 cents.

I would make an adaptor plate with a threaded 3/4-16 male arbor. mount the adaptor plate to the mini lathe than thread the 4 jaw chuck to it.

I am in the process of overhauling/restoring an older Atlas/Craftsman lathe and i have a question regarding the spindle. On the pulley and gear assembly there is a screw, is this just for oiling the bushings or is it a set screw? if it is tightened all the way up it will not allow the pulley...

I am still confused, The difference between the two types of drawings are how the object is layed out on the paper, is that correct? The views of the object look the same, just in a different order, so if this is correct what would it mater if you are looking at a 1st angle or 3rd angle drawing...
