    Problem building Duclos' "Little Blazer"

I'm trying to build this beautiful little engine, working from the description and plan in Projects in Metal magazine for June 1992. At the start of the project, a 7/8" end mill is to be used to cut the main curved surface of the engine body. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be enough...

For Sale Free device--what is it?

In the way of things, when I was rearranging some stuff I came across four of these. They have failed my "20 year test". I hate to toss them out. Free, except for $16.10 shipping (that's a medium flat rate box).

    Elmer Verburg's #6 Slider

What a wonderful resource! Is the book available as a single downloadable file (I couldn't find one), or must it be downloaded one project at a time?

Novice problem on first (steam) engine

    Shop-made tools

I'm shooting for the "grungiest tool" award ;D: this is a buffer I made when I noticed that a defunct electric motor still has 2 bearings a foot or so apart, and right in line. So I threw out the armature, cut a hole in the housing for a belt, and made a nice shaft with a RH thread on one end...
