Ban on small engines in California

Again, as I have posted before. You provide no evidence or even a compelling argument. Most people in the know do not think global warming, how it is promoted today, is even as drastic as they want to make or or man mad. Second, science is not based consensus. It's based on observable evidence...

Ban on small engines in California

Let me set the record straight. This has NOTHING to do with clean air. EVERYTHING has an environmental foot print. Everything. Just how do you want to go about it. And the issue is not pollution as everyone wants to point out, nobody likes breathing smog. This is not the issue. The supposed...

    Bob Roach

It is indeed a great loss. Are the plans still available? I may never build it, but it's worth having just to pour over the drawings.

plans for 50cc upwards metric only IC running on diesel

Understand that. I've been in the RC/model world enough to know what they are. I was referring to my initial reaction to the title. I know they typically are much smaller. But that's why I got excited for a 50cc version. Thought the OP wanted to do something EXTREMELY interesting. I have no idea...

plans for 50cc upwards metric only IC running on diesel

RC max makes a killer 71cc or even an 80cc if you dare option for 1/5 scale stuff. They are insanely powerful.

plans for 50cc upwards metric only IC running on diesel

I'm talking about the model diesel engines in the RC world of yesteryear. They are compact and powerful. Nothing like the engine shown. We use 50cc or even bigger for 1/5 scale RC bashers all the time.

plans for 50cc upwards metric only IC running on diesel

First thing that popped into my head was something more useful in a RC vehicle. That would be sweet. The 50cc size would be very useful for both airplanes and 1/5th scale trucks, buggies, truggies ect.

    Jack's Knucklehead Plans (FREE)

I have for the first time went to a Harley dealer and sat in some of them, that was a VERY BAD thing! Now I see what the fuss is all about. But at least it pushes the desire to build this engine higher up on the list. If you haven't sat in a Harley be advised that once you do you'll be...

    4032 Aluminum for pistons

Nice to have you on the forum but it would be nice to introduce yourself in the welcome section and tell us a little about yourself. As the Brits would say it "It's the done thing.". Cheers, John.

    V8 steam... the final chapter

Great engine! You did a really nice job. Most people don't realize that something like this is FAR more difficult than they ever imagined, and that's not to say they it's easy by any means! John.

    Cummins 500

Without having original blue prints the next most practical method is to look at diagrams which are to ressonably to scale, look for key dimensions such as piston diameter, rings, crank shaft, whatever you can get your hands on and make the rest to fit. The other alternative is to get an...
