    Yes, it is possibly tehs it with air. But both pressures (up and down = open and close) are a little bit different. Depend of constructio more then 10%. Simply steam is steam ;-).

    I have used similar princip a few years ago (see my pages http://www.steamer.cz/par_fit.html). But while years I have problem - pipes damaged while many times join was assembled/dissassembled. I returned to other princip - soldered conus on pipe- see picture. Regards, Jiri

    Is it OK to ream 10.5mm into a 10mm hole?

    I think 0.5mm is too much for reamer. I usually drill hole about 0.2mm smaller then reamer.

    Bad news, I'm crying :'( After a short inrun (under grinding/emery-paste) engine works very good. Runs under 1 bar (15 PSI) smoothly. But I make one thinking mistake.     Try remove main part of soft solder by mechanical tool (knife, Deremel high speed mini grinder). Use smal sand blaster locally at next to remove rest of the solder.     Don't use brass, it's hard and fragile/breakable/cracky. If you cannot buy this thin copper sheet, use more thick copper sheet instead.

    Bending Copper tubing??

    All bender devices are a little bit complicated. I so one idea on japenese web and use it now. Simply make grow at same diameter as pile, heat up pipe (and cool down too ;D) and incurve it.
